About Charles Riley

Dr. Charles Riley's personal care philosophy emphasizes self reliance and taking ownership of your health. That philosophy is seen in his career as a physician and his continued pursuit of higher education, new technologies and participating in medical trials to identify, isolate and provide solutions to cardiovascular disease. He published a number of studies in several professional journals and periodicals through his research then served as the Chief of Cardiology, Chief of Staff and Director of Cardiac services as well as founding three medical centers in NC, AL and FL. With his medical degree from Duke University Medical School in Durham, North Carolina, his postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, also at Duke University Medical School, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and a Certificate of Medical Management at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Riley has pursued greater knowledge and understanding of Cardiovascular disease and has more than 47 years of experience in the practice of cardiology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Lipidology specializing in treatment of Coronary Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Disease, Dyslipidemia, Hypertension and Arrhythmias.

Dr. Riley is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Heart Association and is a member of the National Lipid Association, the Society of Preventive Cardiology and the Heart Failure Society of America.  He continues to actively pursue new interventions in treating Cardiovascular Disease.
